FOAMMASTER Standard E-Foam Proportioner
The standard Foammaster is to be mounted between the Foampump and the injection point.
The system existes of:
- Two MID flowmeters to measure respectively the flow of the water and the foam concentrate
- Foammaster Control Centre calculating the required proportioning rate and acting the contol valve
- Servo drive foam proportioning control valve to regulate the required flow of foam concentrate.
Depending on the kind of pumpsystem, we regard two types:
1) Direct Foammaster
2) Indirect Foammaster
Direct Foammaster
The direct Foammaster is mounted between the foampump unit and the injection point.
The Foammaster will regulate the foamflow directly by means of the Regulated proportioning valve.
This type of Foammaster is mostly used at bigger plants using a central pumproom and local manifolds to mix the water and foam concentrate.
Indirect Foammaster
The indirect Foammaster is mounted between the foampump and the injection point.
The Foammaster wil regulate the foamflow indirectly, by regulating the return line of the foampump by means of the servo driven proportioning valve.
This type of Foammaster in mostly used when a gearpump with fixed output is used.
